The Dark Side of the Vinyl Revival
I noticed the problem during the 2020 pandemic, but quickly realized it had been there since vinyl revival began in 2014. In the Spring of that year (with more time on my hands) I began buying up record collections. Keeping a few for my collection, I attempted to sell the rest online. By the end of the pandemic I still had hundreds of records that would not move…and probably never will. Even local record shops saw no value in them and understandably so. Knowing how bad they were for the environment I refused to throw them out, but the piles kept growing. About a year later I had the thought "What if I repurposed them into something I could use?" I saw a lot of repurposed vinyl made into ART, but not a lot of it that had a function. Besides, a good record collection can always use a few accoutrements, right? I began refashioning these unwanted records into eco-trements that I wanted. My hope is you will too. Everything is handmade and lovingly packaged and shipped to you for free!

Unearthing vinyl
Many of our creations (but not all) can be purchased elsewhere and maybe even cheaper. Amazon, Etsy, EBay all offer similar items for sale, but almost none of them are sourced from actual vinyl records. Your TVRP purchase today builds a better earth tomorrow, contributes to record shops survival - all the while enhancing your record collection with eco-troments.
